Traces
“Traces of presence” are are not only literary monuments – textual fragments of Scandinavian sagas with episodes about Trade route from the Varangians to the Greeks, but also the spectators themselves, or rather their traces of presence, which each of us leaves behind every year, every day, every hour, every second. The installation was conceived as a traveling project, a semi-mythical metaphor of our daily human earth reality. Changing the location and each time plunging into a culturally-historically-socially new context, the project acquires new meanings, lives its own life.
Supreme Market Vogue
This collaboration project was inspired by NYC fashion and freelance photographer Dennis Trejo, with his adaptation of strong yellow colors and vintage fashion and Paris based fashion photographer Valentin Fabre.
The location was picked to represent urban fashion, after a late afternoon trip to the local thrift store on a windy day. Sarah Ochieng, the model represented in the photos, picked the clothing to give this set a chic feel. She styled and rocked a sequined 80's dress complete with shoulder pads and a vintage men's suit reminiscent of New York City fashion.
