Baby Phat Launches "Courtside Capsule" in helps of Giving Back
Baby Phat launch of the "Courtside Capsule" collection made in partnership with Foot Locker follows their contribution on giving back to various communities with the goal of helping people effected by Covid-19 Pandemic. The iconic streetwear brand announced a food distribution initiative that will ensure thousands of meals for families affected by the global health crisis. As reported, Baby Phat founder Kimora Lee Simmons and her daughters, Ming Lee and Aoki Lee, collectively donated 150,000 meals via the Freedom Shield Foundation, with an additional 160,000 meals on its way. The brand came together with the foundation to help support other nonprofits carry out food distribution within their communities. This action was taken in light of the widespread school closures. Hence, families in many communities relied on the meal programs to feed their children. This noble deed will also benefit families that are struggling to feed their kids due to COVID-19-related layoffs and furloughs.
