NYFW 2020 | PINK LABEL by HANIFA Virtual Fashion Show to hold on IGTV LIVE

In The delicate age of COVID our “new normal” is becoming a real-life virtual reality. With virtual seminars, social distancing, and social media surges, we see companies on a global level reaching out to their audiences in a more intimate way through innovative design and utilization of digital platforms. This year, NYFW has gone virtual and we are still here for the looks while we watch at home together.

On Friday, May 22nd, 2020 -  Women’s RTW Contemporary line Hanifa by Anifa Mvuemba, will premiere an Instagram Livestream at 7 p.m. on the brand’s official page showcasing the new Congo-inspired Pink Label Capsule Collection. The DC-based designer has innovated the fashion industry during the Covid-19 pandemic by creating 3D models to showcase her edgy, chic, and inclusive designs. 

Hanifa has been worn by the likes of Kylie Jenner, Lizzo, and Kelly Rowland; while being featured in Vogue, Essence, and Forbes. Anifa Mvuemba is widely recognized for creating collections that inspire women to embrace their femininity through curvy and color contrasting apparel.

On May 22nd, Hanifa will reinvent itself by hosting its first-ever virtual fashion show with silhouettes of 3D models on the runway. As said by Anifa Mvuemba, “We create for women without limitations...I found that the 3D world gave me a place to innovate.
